#3 Africentric 57, #19 Elgin 17

Africentric advances to the sectional finals to take on No. 20 Kipp Columbus on Saturday at 7 p.m.

#5 Mount Gilead 49, #15 Bishop Ready 20

Mount Gilead advances to the sectional finals to take on No. 17 Grandview Heights on Saturday at 7 p.m.

#7 Liberty Union 54, #9 Fairbanks 47

Liberty Union hosted Fairbanks in Wednesday's Division III Sectional matchup. The Lions used a 16-4 fourth quarter run to slip past Fairbanks by a score of 54 to 47.

The teams went shot for shot in the first quarter and headed into the second period with a tie score.  Fairbanks dominated the offensive boards in the second quarter giving them a 26-22 lead at the half. 

Sophomore Abbie Riddle came alive in the second half for the Lions. She topped off a great third quarter with a buzzer beater from the middle of the key. Riddle fueled a 16-4 run to start the fourth and secure the win. 

Liberty Union advances to the sectional finals to take on No. 4 Fredericktown on Saturday at 7 p.m.

#12 Columbus Academy 34, #14 Centerburg 28

Columbus Academy  advances to the sectional finals to take on No. 2 Cardington-Lincoln on Saturday at 7 p.m.

#2 Newark Catholic vs. #17 Millersport - tomorrow at 7 p.m.

The winner will advance to the sectional finals to take on No. 15 Granville Christian on Saturday at 7 p.m.

#4 Danville 53, #14 Northside Christian 23

Broegan Staats (14 points) and Kylee Hess (14 points) led Danville to a convincing 30 point win over Northside Christian.

 Danville advances to the sectional finals to take on No. 18 Shekinah Christian on Saturday at 7 p.m.
