Hunter Antritt's Liberty Union Lions are the hottest team in Division III

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Another week has passed and we are onto the back half of the high school basketball season. While snow (rain) put an end to nearly all of the weekend's matchups, we still have brand new rankings to unleash in Division III and IV.

(team, record, strength of record points)

1. Harvest Prep (10-2 , 11) - Harvest Prep will be able to make statewide waves this week with a Monday matchup against Middletown Madison at Flyin' to the Hoop. In what could be a state semifinal preview, Harvest Prep will get its toughest challenge of the year before ending the week with Fairfield Christian and No. 2 (D4) Berne Union.

2. Columbus Academy (9-3, 14) - Columbus Academy remains steady at No. 2 this week and only has one game on the schedule. Heading to No. 3 Worthington Christian to end the week, the Vikings will need to win in order to stay alongside Whitehall atop the MSL-Ohio.

3. Worthington Christian (10-4, 11) - Worthington Christian seems to be entering a groove as the Warriors picked up two top 10 wins against Fairbanks and Grandview Heights last week. They can make even more progress at home against No. 2  Columbus Academy to end the week.

4. Johnstown (9-2, 13) - Losing a double overtime heartbreaker to Granville last week, Johnstown fell back to earth in the LCL. The Johnnies can notch two wins this week with games against Utica and Licking Heights.

5. Pleasant (11-2, 2) - The Spartans needed overtime and 26 points from Nick Kimmel to squeak past Galion last week. Pleasant can gain some momentum with three tough games against Northmor, Shelby and Mansfield Senior.

6. Liberty Union (7-7, 1) - The hottest team in Division III, Liberty Union is 7-1 since Hunter Antritt joined the rotation, winning all but one of those games by double digits. The Lions can force a three-way tie for second place in the MSL-Buckeye with league games against Hamilton Township and Teays Valley this week. Look for Liberty Union to be a sleeper once the district tournament rolls around.

7. Fairbanks (10-2. 3) - Going on the road and losing to Worthington Christian last week, Fairbanks suffered its first loss since the opening weekend of the season. The Panthers have three games this week, none bigger than Friday's matchup against No. 8 West Jefferson.

8. West Jefferson (11-3, 5) - Taking a tough loss to Springfield Central Catholic last week, West Jefferson is looking to reverse course with two games coming up. A winnable matchup against Madison Plains on Tuesday will set up a revenge matchup at No. 7 Fairbanks on Friday. Losing to the Panthers in the first matchup, Friday's game should be one of the biggest of the season in the Ohio Heritage Conference.

9. Africentric (7-5, 2) - Through its toughest stretch of the season, Africentric can continue to gain momentum in the City League South this week with games against Independence and West. Saturday's contest against Ottawa-Glandorf at the Scholastic Play By Play Classic will pit the Nubians against one of the elite Division III teams in the state.

10. Grandview Heights (8-5, 5) - In a bit of a funk at the moment, Grandview Heights has a great chance to get back in rhythm this week. Heading to No. 8 (D2) Bexley in its only matchup this week, the Bobcats desperately need a win to get back in good standing in the MSL-Ohio.
