Jack Sawyer and Pickerington North took down Reynoldsburg on Friday

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- With a loaded schedule of games on Friday, quality hoops could be found in any corner of Central Ohio. Let's take a look at the top action from across the area. 


Pickerington North 64, Reynoldsburg 52 - Four Panthers scored in double figures led by junior Chris Scott's 16 points as North took down Reynoldsburg. North improves to 7-1 on the season, including 3-1 in the OCC-Ohio.

Westerville South 69, Westerville North 57 - Jordan McMillian poured in 29 points and Westerville South took down rival North on the road.  North falls to 4-5 on the year including 0-4 in OCC-Buckeye play. 

St. Charles 58, Bishop Hartley 46 - Freshman Jared Frey went off for 25 points on five three-point field goals to help St. Charles upset Bishop Hartley on the road. Hartley is in dangerous territory at 1-3 in Central Catholic League play, while the upstart Cardinals are off to an 8-2 start.

Dublin Scioto 53, Worthington Kilbourne 52 - Senior guard Victor Mwamba knocked down a game-winning free throw with less than a second to play as Scioto knocked off Kilbourne in overtime. 

Dublin Coffman 77, Central Crossing 40 - Breakout senior Luke Bartemes went for 23 points as the Rocks used a 21-6 second quarter to blow past Central Crossing. Coffman sits at 8-0 and has one of the best offenses in the state. 

Upper Arlington 68, Marysville 50 - Senior CJ Karsatos scored a career-high 22 points as Upper Arlington rolled over Marysville. Marysville was led by senior guard Bodie Eberhart, who scored 25 points.

Olentangy Liberty 78, Westerville Central 46 - Superstar senior Ben Roderick scored 34 points in three quarters as Liberty rolled over Westerville Central. Fresh off a 51-point performance last Saturday, Roderick has scored 134 points in his last four games. 

Canal Winchester 65, New Albany 48 - Juniors Cole Metzler and Bilal Sow combined for 33 points as Canal Winchester improved to 9-0 with a quality win at New Albany. The Indians are off to a great start and will get a shot at Newark a week from tonight. 

DeSales 71, Bishop Ready 60 - Kayin Derden, Kobe Righter and Desmond Watson combined for 52 points as DeSales retained its spot atop the CCL with a home win over Ready. 

Whitehall 57, Worthington Christian 46 - Sophomore wing Royal Sibly went for 18 points as Whitehall picked up a great win at home. Freshman DJ Moore scored 19 points for Worthington Christian in the loss. 

Bloom-Carroll 59, Teays Valley 53 - Junior guard Otto Kuhns scored 25 points and Bloom-Carroll held off a senior laden Teays Valley team. The host Bulldogs greatly helped its standing in the MSL-Buckeye with the win on Friday.

Columbus Academy 61, Grandview Heights 39 - Grandview loses its second-straight game by double digits in the absence of Luke Lachey, as Dayln Decree and Columbus Academy rolled to a 22-point win. 

South 86, Southridge (FL) 50 - Junior guard Taquan Simington went 10-for-10 from the floor for a career-high 23 points as South advanced to the championship round of the Westminster Holiday Classic. The Bulldogs are rolling at 8-0 on the year. 

Wellington 66, Bishop Rosecrans 49 - Senior guard Dallas Patrick went for 29 points and surpassed 1,000 for his career as the Jaguars rolled over Bishop Rosecrans at home. 

London 81, Tecumseh 60 - London won its seventh-straight game, rolling in Central Buckeye Conference action on the road over Tecumseh. The Red Raiders are 9-1 and off to its best start in decades. 

Logan Elm 57, Hamilton Township 50 - Logan Elm handed Hamilton Township its first MSL-Buckeye loss on the season, as sophomore guard Jason Sailor went for 17 points on the road. Falling to 4-1 in league play, Hamilton Township is still a game ahead of Fairfield Union, Bloom-Carroll, Logan Elm and Teays Valley, but now has a much bigger target on its back. 

Fairbanks 43, Springfield Central Catholic 39 - Fairbanks continued its hot start to the year, taking down one of the better Division IV teams in the state in Springfield Central Catholic. Seth Standley and Mason Smith each scored 10 points to pace the Panthers. 

Centerburg 46, Northmor 44 - Sophomore forward Carter Jones went for 16 points to lead the Trojans over the defending Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference champs Northmor.
