With another full week of high school basketball in the books, we move on to the next round of the Just Hoops Player of the Week.

Thomas Hickman | Westerville Central | 34 points in a tight loss to Gahanna. Hickman scored a career-high in the game, then followed that up with 24 points in a win over Olentangy Liberty on Friday. |
Julius Brown | Westerville North | 30 points in a big-time non-conference win over Dublin Coffman. Brown was the best guard on the floor and proved it in the game, leading all scorers and playing excellent perimeter defense. Brown is the key catalyst to a WN team that has the chance to win a district title. |
Garrett Tipton | Bishop Hartley | 29 points in a win over St. Charles to stay in the race for the CCL title. Tipton's 29 points were a season-high and much needed as Hartley fended off St. Charles |
Datrey Long | Beechcroft | 28 points in a win over Mifflin to secure an undefeated season in the City League North. Long had 24 points in a Tuesday win and then 14 points on Saturday as Beechcroft won at Belmont. Long hit game-tying threes and game-winning free throws in the final minute. |
Qian Magwood | Walnut Ridge | 28 points in a win over Eastmoor on Tuesday. Magwood's career-high performance handed Eastmoor its first loss of the season in the City League South as the sophomore turned up his level of play at the right time. |
Antonio Watson | Newark | 25 points in a 62-60 win over Olentangy Liberty on Tuesday. Watson scored a career-high and hit a game-winning layup to deliver the big home win for Newark. |
Tre Williams | Reynoldsburg | 23 points and 15 rebounds in a 53-52 win over Pickerington North. Williams dominated on the interior to lead the Raiders to a statement win over Pickerington North, who had yet to lose to an area opponent all year. Williams was the best post player on the floor on Friday. |
