Treohn Watkins | South | 15 points in leading South to its first City League title in 37 years. Watkins hit four threes on the day, each coming at a pivotal time for the Bulldogs. Watkins' final three put the Bulldogs up 10 midway through the fourth quarter. |
Quentin Jones | Northland | 20 points, 13 rebounds in a tough loss to South. Jones kept Northland in the game nearly all afternoon long, playing his best all-around game of the season on the biggest stage. |
Julius Brown | Westerville North | 32 points in a non-league win at Harvest Prep on Saturday. Brown set a career-high in the win, as he continued his breakout junior season. |
Rodney Willis | Columbus State CC | 75 points, 29 rebounds in two wins over the weekend. Willis scored 34 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a win over Owens CC on Saturday. The sophomore guard followed that up with a school-record 41 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Lakeland CC on Sunday. Willis broke a Columbus State scoring record that stood for 24 years. |
