A look at the top scorers from Friday's action

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Offering several big-time scoring performances, Friday served as a breakout night for a few players in Central Ohio. Let's take a look at the top scorers from Friday's action.

1. Andrew Golda (Jr. C, Dublin Jerome)

Performance: 33 points vs. Hilliard Darby

The 6-foot-8 junior Golda had his breakout performance on Friday, going for a career-high 33 points in Dublin Jerome's win over Hilliard Darby. A long and lanky big with some skills on the block, Golda has been one of Jerome's emerging young players this season as the Celtics continue to win. One game back of Hilliard Bradley in the OCC-Cardinal, Jerome will need to continue to get big production out of Golda and his teammates in order to force a tie with the Jaguars in the division.

1. Gavin Brown (Sr. SG, Bloom-Carroll)

Performance: 33 points vs. Hamilton Township

The sharp-shooting Brown from Bloom-Carroll broke out of a slump on Friday, going for 33 points in a blowout win over Hamilton Township. Knocking down four threes and converting at the rim, Brown scored the ball at a high level on Friday for Bloom-Carroll. A Shawnee State signee, Brown has enjoyed a terrific senior season, as he is one of the area's top shooters.

3. Lony Francis (Sr. PF, Groveport)

Performance: 31 points, 14 rebounds, 6 blocks vs. Canal Winchester

After a dominant 31-point, 14-rebound, 6-block performance, Francis picked up his first Division II offer from Alderson-Broaddus. An emerging wing forward who has been a breakout player for Groveport in leading the Cruisers to its best start in 12 years, Francis is garnering big-time recruiting interest from top junior college and Division II programs.

4. CJ Prater (Sr. PG, Whitehall)

Performance: 30 points vs. London

Prater, who has been one of Central Ohio's elite scorers this season, was back to his old ways on Friday, as his 30 points led Whitehall to a win over London on the road. Prater has been a mainstay in the Whitehall starting lineup for the last four years, as he has been one of the most productive players in the 2017 class across the entire state.

5. Darius Davis (SG, London)

Performance: 29 points vs. Whitehall  on nine threes

6. Davarious Walker (Sr. PG, Marion-Franklin)

Performance: 29 points vs. West
