Kaleb Wesson scored a season-high 49 points on Tuesday

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Tuesday was the wild wild west of scoring in Central Ohio. Offering several eye-popping scoring performances, points were not at a shortage last night. Let's take a look at the top scorers from Tuesday.

1. Kaleb Wesson (Sr. C, Westerville South)

Performance: 49 points vs. Upper Arlington

Dominant is the only word to describe Wesson on Tuesday. Scoring a career-high 49 points, Wesson broke his own school scoring record that he just set 11 days prior. Accounting for 35 of 37 second half points for Westerville South on Tuesday, Wesson did everything in his power to deliver a win for the Wildcats. What is even more impressive about Wesson's career night is that he could have reasonably scored 60 had he not collected so many assists in the first half. Going 15-of-18 from the floor and 18-of-19 from the line, Wesson exuded with efficiency on Tuesday. Clear cut the best player in Ohio.

2. Dane Goodwin (Jr. SG, Upper Arlington)

Performance: 35 points vs. Westerville South

Goodwin tied his own career-high on Tuesday, going for 35 points and leading Upper Arlington to a signature win over Westerville South. For as good as Wesson was, Goodwin was not far behind. Getting UA going early with his three-point shooting, Goodwin would stay hot for the remainder of the game, knocking down eight of 11 attempts from behind-the-arc. Goodwin and sophomore Max Martz combined for 54 points on Tuesday, 33 of which coming from the three-point line alone. The OSU bound junior has elevated his game to an entirely new level this season.

3. Datrey Long (Jr. SG, Beechcroft)

Performance: 32 points vs. Centennial

In a revenge match against Centennial, a team who upset Beechcroft earlier in the season, the Cougars would have no plans of losing the season series to the Stars. Paced by Long, who scored a career-high 32 points, Beechcroft rolled over Centennial, cruising to a 95-51 victory. A tantalizing ball-handler who can get to the rim and score at will when he's on a roll, Long put together the type of scoring performance that will get himself and Beechcroft rolling heading into the Division II tournament.

4. BJ Duling (Sr. SF, Newark)

Performance: 29 points vs. Olentangy Liberty

Helping Newark remain unbeaten, Duling was on his A-game on Tuesday, going for 29 points as the Wildcats survived the Patriots on the road. A nearly impossible matchup for high school defenders, Duling has been the key for a Newark team that is out to a statewide best 15-0 start this season. When Duling is scoring like he did on Tuesday, Newark has a chance to beat anyone.
