COLUMBUS, Ohio -- With OCC and City League action taking place on Friday, the slate of games is as full as it gets. Let's take a look at our prediction results for Friday.

#11 Pickerington North 44, #8 Gahanna 41

Pickerington North rode junior forward Jerome Hunter, who scored a game-high 23 points, to take down Gahanna on the road. With the win, North climbs to 1-1 in OCC-Ohio play, while Gahanna falls to 0-2 in the division. 

#4 (D2) South 69, #1 (D4) Africentric 55

South delivered a tough blow to Africentric at home, attacking the basket at will in a 69-55 win. Leading by as much as 20 points, South continued to push the pace against the Nubians, punishing the visitors inside. With the win, South is tied atop the City League South with Eastmoor. 

#3 (D4) Grove City Christian 79, #4 (D4) Harvest Prep 77

Grove City Christian rallied from a 19-point second half deficit to take down Harvest Prep on the road. The Eagles rode senior guards Brandon Baker and Matt Bailey to a huge MSL win that puts GCC tied atop the Cardinal division with Fairfield Christian. Harvest Prep was led by junior wing CJ Penha, who scored a game-high 29 points. 

#10 St. Charles 61, #2 (D3) Ready 44

St. Charles relied on its big three senior duo of Tavon Brown, Nick Muszynski and Braden Budd, who combined for 44 points in the Cardinals' win. Junior guard Brady Thomas led Bishop Ready with 20 points. 

#1 Westerville South 69, #14 Olentangy Liberty 43

Outscoring Olentangy Liberty 44-14 in the second half, Westerville South dominated in the final 16 minutes in a win that puts the Wildcats alone atop the OCC-Buckeye. South was led by seniors Kaleb Wesson and Antoine Smith, who combined for 37 points. 

#12 Groveport 75, #23 Canal Winchester 39

Groveport remained unbeaten behind a dominant 30-point, 11-rebound performance from senior post Lony Francis in a blowout win on the road over previously undefeated Canal Winchester. Groveport takes its undefeated record on the road against Pickerington Central on Tuesday. 

Centennial 63, #2 (D2) Beechcroft 59

UPSET ALERT!

Centennial delivered the upset of the night, taking down Beechcroft on the road to register its first win of the season. After losing to East on Tuesday, Centennial greatly responded against a Beechcroft team that many expected to heavily compete for a City North title. The Stars were led by senior wing forward Kylen Gilbert, who scored 22 points.
