Future Norse wing can do a little bit of everything, four-year winner

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- Coming into his career at Pickerington Central, Jalen Tate was always referred to as "Jae'Sean's brother," as his story had yet to be written in the shadow of the future Buckeye. However, throughout the last four years, Jalen Tate has notched his own legacy as a hard-working wing with a non-stop motor that terrorized the OCC-Ohio for the last two seasons.

The Northern Kentucky signee Tate, while not having the star power attached to his name as other top players in a deep 2016 class in Central Ohio, has been one of the area's absolute most productive players, impacting the game in a variety of ways. Able to score, pass, rebound, defend and motivate, Tate is a major reason for the three district titles that Pickerington Central won in his career, as he started in each of those title-winning games.

Moving on to a Northern Kentucky program that is building strong roots in Ohio, Tate comes in underrated, but for the 6-foot-5 wing, that is what he is used to. Do not be surprised to see Tate end up as a Norse great in four years. It's just what he does.
