The Week That Was: League action took place Friday, but all outcomes were as expected and there was no movement in the standings. Currently at the top of the league, 3-0 Newark defeated Central Crossing. At 2-1, Reynoldsburg easily took care of Lancaster and Pickerington Central did the same to Groveport Madison. The Wildcats and Tigers then followed up on Saturday with non-conference wins. Newark defeated Mount Vernon and while it was officially ruled a no contest, Pickerington Central looked impressive in a 67-51 advantage over Walnut Ridge before the game was called off for safety reasons.

The Week Ahead: Conference play picks back up on Tuesday, but similar to the week before, don't expect much movement in the standings. The top three teams once again square off with the bottom three. Reynoldsburg hosts Central Crossing, Newark travels to Groveport Madison and Pickerington Central is on the road to Lancaster. The Cruisers have a tough challenge on Thursday against Hilliard Bradley. Then over the holiday weekend, the Tigers and Raiders head down to the Dayton region and play challenging opponents at the annual Flyin' To The Hoop Showcase. Central will face Lima Senior on Sunday and Reynoldsburg plays Oak Ridge (Florida) Monday.
