A look at the second round action in Central Ohio on Friday

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A week ago, teams were wrapping up the regular season and preparing for the tournament run. In a span of seven days, we are down to just eight teams remaining in Division II. 

Let's take a look at Friday's sectional final action in Central Ohio.

Central 1

#7 Granville 50, #9 Bloom-Carroll 44

Granville advances to the district semifinals to take on No. 2 River Valley on March 1 at 7 p.m.

#2 River Valley 74, #10 Linden-McKinley 62

River Valley advances to the district semifinals to take on No. 7 Granville on March 1 at 7 p.m.

#11 London 41, #8 Jonathan Alder 37

London advances to the district semifinals to take on No. 3 Bishop Watterson on March 1 at 7 p.m.

#3 Bishop Watterson 79, #20 Centennial 46

Bishop Watterson advances to the district semifinals to take on No. 11 London on March 1 at 7 p.m.

Central 2

#1 Bishop Ready 69, #21 East 22

Bishop Ready advances to the district semifinals to take on No. 16 Beechcroft on March 1 at 7 p.m. Ready improved to a perfect 24-0 with the victory over the Tigers. 

#16 Beechcroft 63, #14 Marion-Franklin 59

Beechcroft advances to the district semifinals to take on No. 1 Bishop Ready on March 1 at 7 p.m.

#4 Bexley 40, #6 Johnstown 37

Bexley/Johnstown advances to the district semifinals to take on No. 5 Bishop Hartley/No. 15 Eastmoor Academy on March 1 at 7 p.m.

#15 Eastmoor Academy 72, #5 Bishop Hartley 66

Eastmoor Academy pulled the upset of the Division II tournament and knocked off neighborhood rival Bishop Hartley to advance to the district semifinals to take on No. 4 Bexley on March 1 at 7 p.m.

Junior guard James Nowell was the best player on the floor to help the Warriors pick up a massive sectional final victory.
