West Jefferson came within three points from pulling the upset of the tournament. However, the Roughriders didn't have enough to overpower Worthington Christian. The Warriors move on to host No. 24 Cardington on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the sectional finals.
Grandview Heights moves on to the sectional finals to take on No. 10 Fairbanks on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Elgin stormed back and took down International at home in a game that went down to the wire. The Comets move on to the sectional finals to take on No. 4 Johnstown on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Harvest Prep moves on to the sectional finals to take on No. 12 Utica on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Utica advances to the sectional finals to take on No. 5 Harvest Prep on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Africentric moves on to the sectional finals to take on No. 26 Amanda-Clearcreek on Saturday at 1 p.m.
North Union upset Heath on Tuesday night in a big road win. The Wildcats move on to the sectional finals to take on No. 9 Fredericktown on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Fredericktown advances to the sectional finals to take on No. 19 North Union on Saturday at 7 p.m.
In the upset of the tournament, Horizon Science went on the road and claimed north side supremacy in a 58-56 win at Kipp Columbus. The Hawks move on to the sectional finals to take on No. 13 Madison Plains on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Centerburg advances to the sectional finals to take on No. 3 Columbus Academy on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Columbus Academy advances to the sectional finals to take on No. 11 Centerburg on Saturday at 7 p.m.
In the only Division IV sectional semifinal in either bracket, Madison Christian knocked off MOCAL foe Granville Christian to advance to the sectional finals. The Eagles will face No. 5 Millersport in the sectional finals on Saturday at 7 p.m.
