A look at the latest power rankings in Division I

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Another weekend has passed us by as we inch closer to district tournament draw time. Let's take a look at our latest power rankings in Division I.

1. Pickerington Central (12-5)
Last Week: No. 1 | 77 strength of record points | @ Central Crossing (2)

The Tigers have the talent to win any game they come into. Do they have the same grit they had last year? We'll find out as the season becomes more difficult in the next month and a half.

2. Olentangy Liberty (14-2)
Last Week: No. 3 | 89 strength of record points | vs. Upper Arlington (4), vs. Olentangy (4)

Olentangy Liberty has been the most impressive team in the area in Division I this season. The Patriots have two top five wins, which is the most in the area. They'll be favored in both games this week.

3. Olentangy Orange (14-2)
Last Week: No. 4 | 87 strength of record points | vs. #15 Dublin Coffman (7)

Orange has a very impressive resume this season and will have a chance to add another top 15 win on Friday. The Pioneers have as good of a three-man backcourt trio as you're going to find across the state.

4. Dublin Jerome (11-4)
Last Week: No. 5 | 60 strength of record points | vs. #5 (D2) Bishop Hartley (6), vs. Marysville (6)

Jerome came in with major expectations and has met most of them. Still unbeaten in the OCC-Cardinal, the Celtics will be tested twice this week against quality competition.

5. Westerville North (13-2)
Last Week: No. 6 | 52 strength of record points | vs. #13 Delaware Hayes (7), vs. #10 Westerville South (7)

The OCC-Capital picture is going to become a whole lot clearer this week. The team who will impact that picture the most? Westerville North. The Warriors have the chance to pick up two top 15 wins, take control of their division and really bolster their resume this week.

6. Pickerington North (13-3)
Last Week: No. 2 | 67 strength of record points | @ Groveport Madison (2), @ Westland (1)

A road loss to Westerville Central drops North back four spots this week. The Panthers will be heavily favored in both games this week, as they should have no problem beginning another win streak.

7. Gahanna Lincoln (13-3)
Last Week: No. 7 | 63 strength of record points | @ New Albany (4), vs. Northland (6)

Gahanna Lincoln lost all five starters from last season, but you'd be hard pressed to notice the difference if you were a casual fan. This team has been very successful and is still in the hunt for a fourth-straight OCC-Ohio title.

8. Westerville Central (9-5)
Last Week: No. 11 | 56 strength of record points |vs. #9 Hilliard Bradley (8), vs. Grove City (6)

Westerville Central is one of the hotter teams in the area. They've beaten three teams in the top 10 in the last month. If they want to keep rising up the polls, they can do so with two very difficult matchups this week.

9. Hilliard Bradley (10-4)
Last Week: No. 9 | 55 strength of record points | @ #8 Westerville Central (9), vs. Hilliard Davidson (5)

Death, taxes and Hilliard Bradley being a top 10 team. Long gone are the days a decade ago of this program being futile. Brett Norris has built a juggernaut and the Jags can pick up a signature win on Tuesday before hosting rival Davidson to end the week.

10. Westerville South (11-3)
Last Week: No. 12 | 51 strength of record points | @ Big Walnut (6), @ #5 Westerville North (10)

Westerville South controls its own destiny in the OCC-Capital. In what is more than likely going to be Ed Calo's last season of his legendary career, the 'Cats can send the ol' ball coach out in style with a league title this year. Two games this week will help determine if that will be a reality or not.

11. Newark (11-5)
Last Week: No. 8 | 51 strength of record points | vs. Reynoldsburg (6)

Against teams outside of the top six, Newark is undefeated. Unfortunately they have not been able to register a top six win in those matchups. They can pick up a quality win to end the week against Reynoldsburg, however.

12. Olentangy Berlin (12-3)
Last Week: No. 13 | 52 strength of record points | @ Hilliard Darby (6)

Donovan Barrett has really turned this program around, as Berlin, in its infancy, did not stand a chance against OCC competition. Those days are over, as the Bears can match up with anyone on their schedule. Still holding an outside shot in the OCC-Cardinal, Berlin has to win every single game on its schedule to have a chance to unseat Jerome.

13. Delaware Hayes (12-3)
Last Week: No. 14 | 59 strength of record points | @ #5 Westerville North (10), vs. Worthington Kilbourne (4)

Hayes has been a top 15 team all season long and can really make a climb up these rankings if they can knock off Westerville North on the road. Tied atop the league with North and South, Hayes has two must-win games on its schedule this week.

14. St. Charles (9-7)
Last Week: NR | 56 strength of record points | vs. #5 (D2) Bishop Hartley (6)

St. Charles has faced as tough a schedule as any team in these rankings this year, as they have not been able to play a single home game. With a win over Moeller on its resume, St. Charles has something no other team does. Revenge is on the menu as the Cardinals host Hartley on Friday at Ohio Dominican.

15. Dublin Coffman (9-6)
Last Week: No. 15 | 44 strength of record points | @ #3 Olentangy Orange (10)

Coffman has enjoyed a bounce back season in the OCC-Central and can make a statement at Orange on Friday. A road win for the Rocks would really help their postseason resume.
