A look at the latest power rankings in Division II

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Another week, another top ranked Central Catholic League battle on tap. This week will mark three weeks in a row of that, as Bishop Ready will look to make it two weeks in a row with top three wins when Bishop Hartley comes to town on Friday. Let's take a look at the latest power rankings in Division II.

1. Bishop Ready (10-0)
Last Week: No. 1 | 72 strength of record points | @ Washington Court House (7), vs. #3 Bishop Hartley (8), vs. #3 (D3) Northridge (8)

Bishop Ready is the lone unbeaten in Central Ohio boys basketball. The Silver Knights had a great week last week, picking up two top 5 wins over No. 2 Bishop Watterson and No. 4 Bexley. The Silver Knights will have the opportunity to rack up two more top 3 wins, with Hartley and Northridge (D3) on deck this week.

2. Bishop Watterson (6-5)
Last Week: No. 2 | 50 strength of record points | @ DeSales (7), vs. McNicholas (7)

Watterson's six-game winning streak was snapped at the hands of Bishop Ready last Friday. The Eagles can bounce back with two games away from home against quality competition. Watterson is in must-win mode on Friday against DeSales, as the Eagles need to stay within striking distance in the CCL.

3. Bishop Hartley (8-2)
Last Week: No. 3 | 55 strength of record points | @ #1 Bishop Ready (10), vs. Mansfield Senior (6)

After a 7-0 start, Hartley has dropped two of their last three games. The Hawks lost a surprising one to Kipp Columbus last week, but bounced back against Whitehall. Hartley can greatly help its postseason fortunes if they are to knock off top-ranked Ready on the road on Friday.

4. Bexley (7-4)
Last Week: No. 4 | 26 strength of record points | @ #2 (D3) Worthington Christian (9)

The Lions have been solid all season long and will have the opportunity to pick up a major signature win this week. Worthington Christian is one of the hottest teams in the area and will be a great challenge for Bexley.

5. Jonathan Alder (5-5)
Last week: No. 5 | 31 strength of record points | @ Ben Logan (4), vs. Shawnee (5), vs. #8 River Valley (7)

In a major down year for Division II hoops, we have two five-loss teams in the top five this early in the season for the first time. Jonathan Alder has two winnable games on tap this week before a weekend showdown against River Valley, which will be a big seeding game for the district tournament.

6. Johnstown (6-5)
Last Week: No. 8 | 34 strength of record points | @ #8 (D3) Heath (8), VS. Newark Catholic (1)

7. Granville (6-6)
Last Week: No. 10 | 34 strength of record points | vs. Watkins Memorial (7), @ Zanesville (2)

8. River Valley (7-4)
Last Week: No. 7 | 34 strength of record points | vs. Galion (5), vs. #5 Jonathan Alder (8)

9. Bloom-Carroll (6-4)
Last Week: No. 6 | 25 strength of record points | vs. Circleville (5)

10. Buckeye Valley (5-7)
Last Week: NR | 22 strength of record points | vs. Pleasant (4), @ Wellington (1)
