A look at the latest power rankings in Division IV

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- We have a bit of a shake up at the top of Division IV. Let's take a look at the latest rankings in the area's smallest division.

1. Millersport (7-3)
Last week ranking: No. 3 | 36 strength of record points | @ Granville Christian (5), @ Bishop Rosecrans (7)

For the first time in 270 history, Millersport stands at No. 1 in the Division IV rankings. This team is balanced and can put points on the board. They'll need that offensive firepower this week with two important road games. Rosecrans has been the barometer for this top five, so a win there would be greatly beneficial for the Lakers.

2. Patriot Prep (6-4)
Last week ranking: No. 2 | 51 strength of record points | L vs. Thurgood Marshall, @ Grove City Christian (9)

If the Eagles had taken down Dayton Thurgood Marshal on Monday, they would've been No. 1 in these rankings. However, they had a great week on the road last week, picking up big time wins over Bishop Rosecrans and Strasburg-Franklin. This team has not lost a game against D4 competition and will be a force once again come tournament time.

3. Fairfield Christian (6-4)
Last week ranking: No. 4 | 36 strength of record points | L @ Bishop Rosecrans, @ Berne Union (5)

Fairfield Christian notched the best win of any Division IV team last week when they took down previously No. 1 Northside Christian at Berne Union. The Knights have been solid all season long and will be back at Berne Union this week to take on the Rockets. Fairfield Christian needs a bounce back win after falling at Bishop Rosecrans on Monday.

4. Northside Christian (7-2)
Last week ranking: No. 1 | 51 strength of record points | vs. #5 Danville (8), @ Delaware Christian (5)

Northside Christian's loss to Fairfield Christian, combined with Fairfield's loss to Bishop Rosecrans and Patriot Prep's win over Rosecrans, further combined by Millersport's win over Fairfield Christian earlier in the season, has the Lions at No. 4 despite having the best record in the top five. Northside can get back on track quickly with a home matchup against No. 5 Danville that is a must win for the Lions.

5. Danville (6-4)
Last week ranking: NR | 36 strength of record points | W vs. Madison Christian (5), @ #4 Northside Christian (9), @ East Knox (8)

Welcome back to the top five, Danville. The Blue Devils had a great week last week, knocking off Tree of Life and Granville Christian at home. They can continue their recent dominance of the MOCAL with a road matchup at Northside Christian on Tuesday. Danville's postseason fortunes could be greatly aided with a win on the road over the Lions, who are the most talented team in this top five.
