A look at our latest power rankings in Division III

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Africentric, Harvest Prep and Columbus Academy remain in the top three of this week's Division III power rankings, but there is some shake up in the middle along with Tree of Life making their season debut on the list. Take a look at the rankings below, along with what's on tap for each squad this week.

1. Africentric (2-1): Africentric remains at number one following a pair of wins last week. With star senior Dailyn Swain now back at full strength, the Nubians have a pair of City League South games against Walnut Ridge and Eastmoor this week before taking on Division I power St. Ignatius on Saturday at the Play by Play Classic at Nationwide Arena.

2. Harvest Prep (3-2): Following an 0-2 start, Harvest Prep jumped above .500 last week with three blowout wins over Berne Union, Fairfield Christian and Grove City Christian. The Warriors won't be challenged again until next Tuesday against Westerville South as they will be heavily favored in their only two matchups this week against Fisher Catholic and Millersport.

3. Columbus Academy (5-0): The Vikings are off to an excellent start to the season as they moved to 5-0 last week following wins over Kipp Columbus and Grandview Heights. Columbus Academy's only game this week is an MSL-Ohio showdown on Saturday when they host Wellington.

4. Heath (2-0): Heath began the season 2-0 last week after blowing out Marion Franklin and winning a close one over Utica. The new look Bulldogs roster will be tested on the road against Granville Wednesday before hosting Northridge on Saturday.

5. Kipp Columbus (3-1): Kipp is off to a great start to the young season as they are 3-1 with their only loss coming by two points to an undefeated Columbus Academy squad. A potential sleeper in Columbus Division III this season, they host Wellington on Thursday in what should be another winnable game.

6. Grandview Heights (1-2):  The Bobcats bounced back from a loss to Northside Christian in their season opener by picking up an impressive win over Worthington Christian before falling to undefeated Columbus Academy on the road. Still yet to play a home game, Grandview Heights has two road contests ahead this week against Wellington and Bexley, both of which are MSL-Ohio matchups.

7. Worthington Christian (4-2): Worthington Christian comes in at number seven in this week's rankings following two league wins over Wellington and Buckeye Valley last week by a combined 57 points. Junior forward Sam Johnson and the Warriors have two road games ahead this week against Whitehall and Centerburg.

8. Fairbanks (4-1): Coach Zach Brown and the Panthers are off to an impressive start to the season as they moved to 4-1 last week following two road wins over Mechanicsburg and Northeastern. Two OHC matchups against West Jefferson and Triad loom for Fairbanks this week as they look to move to 6-1.

9. Tree of Life (4-1): Tree of Life makes their first appearance in the Division III rankings after picking up three straight league wins in the MOCAL, most notably taking down Division IV favorite Northside Christian 62-44. The Trojans have just one game ahead the rest of the week as they head to Granville Christian this Saturday for another league showdown.

10. Utica (2-1): The Redskins are playing well early on in the year as they took down Zanesville last week before falling to Heath by just a point on Saturday. Senior guard Trenton Collins and Utica will play their lone game of the week on Saturday when they host LCL foe Johnstown.
