A look at the top prospects from Marion-Franklin's win over Centennial

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- On Thanksgiving Eve, the high school basketball season tipped off. We checked out Marion-Franklin as the Red Devils went on the road and knocked off Centennial, 53-43. Let's take a look at the top performers from the opening win for Marion-Franklin.

Tito Glass Jr. (6'2 SF / Marion-Franklin / 2024): Make no mistake, Glass is heading to the next level to play football. The 6-foot-2 tank is an imposing physical force that helped Marion-Franklin win the City League South and make the state playoffs this past fall. On the hardwood, he is one of the more talented players in the City League. Glass is a great finisher who absorbs contact easily and finishes through it. He has the ball handling to break defenders down off the bounce and is a capable shooter out to the three point line. When you have an elite player on your side, you like your chances in any game and Marion-Franklin has that luxury with Glass. They'll need his supporting cast to continue to step up like they did last night if they want to continue to win big games.

Henri Young Jr. (6'6 stretch big / Centennial / 2023): Young is one of the elite shooters among big men in the area. The senior has a lanky frame and enough guard skills on the perimeter to put the ball on the deck and be a threat as a driver. We loved the way he played last night on the defensive end, as he blocked two shots and was a rim deterrent for the Stars. Offensively, Young has a beautiful three-point stroke that he uses to punish defenses. His release is high, technically sound and quick, which makes it hard to defend. He will need to add serious weight to compete on the defensive end in college, however, his shooting ability is more than enough to warrant a look from next level programs.
