COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Now two full weeks into the season, we have an idea of who the top handful of teams are in Central Ohio. League play for the Ohio Capital Conference, City League and others will begin to help shape the picture up, but for now let's take a look at the rankings as they stand today:

Newark Catholic (0-0): The Green Wave have not started their season yet, as their football team is competing for a state championship. The Division VII title game is Saturday at 10:30 am, with Newark Catholic taking on Marion Local.
Grandview Heights (2-0): The Bobcats have opened the year with two convincing wins, knocking off Northside Christian and Berne Union both by 25-plus. (#10 D3) Worthington Christian and Liberty Union are on the schedule for Friday and Saturday, respectively.
Shekinah Christian (0-0): The Flames will open their 2021-22 campaign on Friday night when they host No. 5 Tree of Life.
Fisher Catholic (0-0): The Irish have not played a game yet either and will host Millersport on Saturday night to open the season.
Tree of Life (1-0): After a 57-46 win over Fairfield Christian on Tuesday night, a top-five Div. IV match-up is in the works when they travel to No. 3 Shekinah Christian.
