COLUMBUS, Ohio -- There aren't a lot of things in basketball that will make you feel better than dropping a career-high scoring wise and leading your team to a blowout win.

After doing both of those things on Tuesday night, Bloom-Carroll junior guard Evan Dozer certainly slept well last night and highlights this edition of stars of the night.

The only player in the area to score 30+ points on Tuesday, Dozer went off for 30 as the Bulldogs dominated Bexley in a 61-39 win.

Scoring from all over the floor, Dozer knocked down three triples and scored in a handful of other ways in the contest.

One of the more under-the-radar guards in the 2022 class, Dozer has turned his experience learning from Otto Kuhns last season into a stellar junior campaign, as he also has put up showings of 21 points, 20 points and 19 points in three league games for the Bulldogs.

After dropping a few games early on in the season, Dozer and Bloom-Carroll are rolling following last nights win as they have won four games in a row and he has scored 78 points during the stretch.

With talented guards such as Dozer, Jared RoseRyan Williams and Joe Luckhaupt, the Bulldogs are a threat to win on any given night in the MSL and might surprise some people come tournament time.

While Dozer enjoyed a career night last night, several other players went off for big scoring outputs, so let's dive right into them below.

Jaydon Pearson (6'0 G / Dublin Scioto / 2021): In a tough loss to Westerville South last night, Pearson legitimately carried the load for Dublin Scioto, scoring 27 of the Irish 36 points in the contest. In a matchup with some tough guards in the Westerville South backcourt, Pearson really impressed, scoring an efficient 27 on 10-of-19 shooting while turning the ball over just once. A three level scorer who can really fill it up when he gets going, Pearson was also 5-for-10 from deep in the contest while snagging five rebounds. While Dublin Scioto has not played many games thus far, the senior has in impressed in nearly every game they have had as he is averaging upwards of 20 points a night. For small college programs in need of a scoring guard, Pearson might be worth your time as he continues to improve every game out.

Camden Ledford (6'4 WF / Westerville North / 2021): Due to his wild hair style and crazy celebrations Ledford is always a blast to watch play, however he has legitimately been playing really well this season. Notching a season-high 24 points in a blowout win over Franklin Heights last night, Ledford turned in an excellent performance for the Warriors. A talented shooter with good length on the wing, Ledford put his shooting stroke on display last night, nailing four triples in the contest. He also converted on five two-point field goals during the win. A player who makes the most of his touches and always provides his team with energy, Ledford is a key piece to Westerville North this season.

Zach Vernon (6'7 PF / North Union / 2022): A prospect who seems to improve every single time that we watch him, Vernon enjoyed a solid night last night despite us not being in attendance. Going for 23 points in a blowout win over London, Vernon took advantage of a Red Raiders interior who had no matchup for him. With great size and skill near the rim, Vernon is one of the better 2022 big men in the area as he has continued to improve his motor this season. The junior also can stretch the floor, is a talented rebounder and is improving on the defensive interior. Keep an eye on Vernon, as he continues to improve at a great pace.

Seth Cooper (6'2 WG / Utica / 2022): In a tough three point loss to Licking Valley last night, Cooper pieced together an impressive 23 point showing to lead all scorers. After being held scoreless in the first and tallying just seven first half points, Cooper began to heat up in the second half. Nailing a triple and converting on a ton of two-point field goals while going four-of-six from the line, Cooper did everything he could to help the Redskins secure the win, however it simply wasn't enough as the Panthers used a big fourth quarter to spoil his stellar night and come out victorious.
