REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio -- After absolutely dominating Central Crossing 100-11 last night, Reynoldsburg dismantled another OCC-Buckeye opponent today as the Lady Raiders rolled over Groveport Madison 97-22.

After junior guard Imarianah Russell scored the first six points of the game it was all Reynoldsburg from that point forward, as they forced a handful of Cruiser turnovers, hit shots from all over the court and did a great job playing together.

Behind a combined 37 first half points from Russell and Ohio State commit Mya Perry, the Lady Raiders cruised into the lockeroom ahead 50-11 at the half.

They continued to widen the margin at this pace even after calling off their full court press and had their day perfectly summarized when Russell buried a half-court shot at the buzzer at the conclusion of the third quarter, seemingly able to do nothing wrong.

In a dominant outing, Russell led all scorers with 31 points and Perry also contributed 22 for the Lady Raiders. Louisville commit Alexia Mobley tallied 16 of her own, while Trinity Ramos also added nine.

For Groveport Madison, senior guard Casey Humphrey led the way with 14 points.

Moving to 6-0 following the win, Reynoldsburg turns their sites to the biggest girls matchup in the area so far this season when they travel to Newark next week.

Both the Lady Raiders and Lady Wildcats each feature top end talent, have a rich winning tradition and are a threat to not only win the region, but the state in Division I.

The game will feature a handful of excellent matchups, as Reynoldsburg will look to slow down West Virginia commit Emma Shumate and Newark will seek to find an answer for Russell.

Imarianah Russell (5'11 PG / Reynoldsburg / 2022): To keep it simple here, Russell has it all. Leading all scorers with 31 points on Saturday, the junior guard scored in virtually every way from start to finish. Russell is a physical beast as she offers a great combination of strength, speed and athleticism that give her an advantage on both ends of the floor. The junior blew by defenders and got to the rim where she finished efficiently, nailed three triples and hit a smooth side step from the mid-range in rhythm. She also plays with a good IQ on that end of the floor, showing off good instincts and passing ability by getting teammates involved. Defensively, Russell is excellent on the perimeter and is capable of defending in the post as well thanks to her physical tools. Already holding a handful of high-major offers, the stock will only continue to rise for Russell as she is one of Ohio's best players in the 2022 class.

Mya Perry (5'11 WG / Reynoldsburg / 2022): Just a little over a week after committing to Ohio State, Perry has been on a tear, tallying 22 points in todays win following a 24 point outing on Friday night. A very gifted offensive player, Perry can score from all three levels and put it on display today by doing so efficiently. Perry buried four triples, converted from the mid-range area and got to the rim for a couple of finishes. We really like how she operates on that end of the floor, as the junior moves well off the ball and doesn't waste many dribbles when trying to get into her shot. Defensively, Perry plays with a high IQ and was very disruptive in traps on Tuesday with her length. We expect the junior to continue to dominate moving forward and are excited to see her go up against Emma Shumate and Newark next week.

Alexia Mobley (6'2 PF / Reynoldsburg / 2022): Another stud junior for the Raiders, Mobley put together a solid performance on Saturday despite it not being the best we have seen from her, finishing with 16 points, a handful of rebounds and several blocks. With great length and size at 6-foot-2, Mobley is a terror on the inside, as she can get virtually any look she wants near the rim and often cleans up the miss when she does not convert. The junior also worked well with Russell in the pick and roll and connected on a smooth mid-range off the catch. Defensively, Mobley just might be the best girls shot blocker in the area, as has great length and discipline on that end that allow her to alter or block every shot that comes her way. Committed to Louisville, Mobley is one of Ohio's elite 2022 prospects and has put up fantastic numbers this season.

Casey Humphrey (5'2 PG / Groveport Madison / 2021): Despite not converting on a very efficient number of her attempts this afternoon, we wanted to spotlight Humphrey a little bit anyways due to the fact that she was the only way Groveport Madison created any offense and the fact that she was able to get herself open against this Reynoldsburg backcourt is impressive itself. Humphrey hit two three's, a mid range jumper and a floater on her way to 14 points. She showed off a good handle by splitting a couple traps and getting inside and most important of all, she never backed down from Reynoldsburg in a game where her team was overmatched and things weren't going their way.
