HEBRON, Ohio -- For the first time in the 270 Hoops era, Heath tops the Division II power rankings as the Bulldogs are the lone unbeaten in the division at 9-0. Despite having a great deal of youth, Heath is off to a roaring start and picked up a huge league win on the road at Johnstown a week ago before rolling by Patriot Academy and Fisher Catholic to win its own holiday tournament.
This week will be a bit of a statement week as No. 2 Jonathan Alder and No. 3 DeSales will do battle on Saturday. The Stallions are in the mist of a challenging four-game stretch, as it took down highly talented Lake Catholic at the Newark Holiday Tournament before falling to the host Wildcats in the final. DeSales will have a tough back-to-back weekend as it will play on the road at St. Charles on Friday.
Buckeye Valley fell from the ranks of the unbeaten as Bishop Watterson went on the road and shocked the Barons in double overtime. That major win for the Eagles helped them jump back into the top 10, while Eastmoor makes its first appearance in the rankings following a big win on the road at Northland last Saturday.
Let's take a look at the rest of the latest Division II power rankings.
