Ajay Sheldon (5'8 PG / Dublin Coffman): After Coffman coaches urged us to get our eyes on Sheldon for the last month or so, it was nice to finally see the prospect that we had heard so much about. We were not disappointed. Sheldon immediately showed why he is regarded as an elite prospect in the 2022 class, running the show as the Pumas' floor general on both ends. While Sheldon impressed athletically with his ability to beat guys off the dribble and finish tough attempts at the rim, it was his defense that stood out the most. Extremely quick laterally, Sheldon made it tough for opposing guards to do much of anything, as he was able to shut off driving lanes and completely disrupt the flow of the offense. Sheldon is a bulldog and reminds us a ton of former Coffman guard CJ Saunders, who is now a walk on turned scholarship wide receiver at Ohio State. While Coffman has a loaded backcourt of juniors between nationally ranked Dominiq Penn and stock rising Keaton Turner, look for Sheldon to have a chance to earn a permanent role in the Coffman rotation, as you can really win with guys like him.

Noah Lawrence (5'11 PG / Westerville North): Each class there seems to be one shooter who stands out among the rest of the prospects in the area. Lawrence might be that guy in 2022, as he scorched the nets on Sunday, making several tough shots off the dribble in the pick and roll game, off screens and as a spot-up shooter on the perimeter. Lawrence also has a tight handle and some bravado to his game, which makes him a tough cover away from the basket. Lawrence joins a Westerville North backcourt that could greatly use his outside shooting ability, as we see him being able to earn valuable minutes as a freshman.

Luke Lyall (5'11 W / Tri-Valley): Getting our first look at Lyall on Sunday, we were very impressed with his strength and ability to finish at the rim. Several times Lyall beat his defenders off the dribble and was able to finish through contact around the basket. Lyall is a tough kid who provided the Pumas with aggression on both ends of the floor that eventually led to a tournament title. With Jake McLoughlin graduating and moving on to Ashland, Lyall steps in as the next stud in the Tri-Valley program.

Honorable mention: Tegan Myers (5'11 G, Logan), Dylan Thompson (5'11 WF, Buckeye Valley)
