Kobe Buford (6'3 CG / Upper Arlington): One of the most improved sophomores in the area, Buford was terrific in our viewing of him on Saturday. Stretching out to 6-foot-3 and appearing to be more athletic, Buford shot the ball as well as we've ever seen out of him, as his overall feel and confidence was much improved. Buford is going to be relied upon as a secondary playmaker for the Golden Bears and should be expected to receive major minutes to help this UA program remain among the elite in the area with the graduation of the player's best all-time player in Dane Goodwin.

Henry Hinkle (6'0 PG / Olentangy Liberty): Savvy. That's a way to describe Hinkle's game. Running the show for the Patriots on Saturday, Hinkle was the most important player on the floor for Liberty, as the Patriots were a much better team with him out there. A high IQ guard with great passing skills, Hinkle showed off the full arsenal, racking up a high number of assists, finishing with creativity at the rim and knocking down open threes whenever he was given space. Hinkle is a very impactful lead guard who is exactly what the doctor ordered for the Liberty program, who should have a chance to be one of the area's best when Ben Roderick returns from injury.

Jarius Jones (6'3 WF / Gahanna): Saturday's breakout player, Jones put in great minutes off the bench for Gahanna. Never seeing Jones before Saturday, we came away very impressed with the athletic wing's ability to finish through contact at the rim. A strong finisher with a long and wiry build, Jones plays hard and has active hands on the defensive side of the ball. Look for Jones to be a key contributor off the bench for the Lions, as Gahanna looks to reload from a deep 2018 class.

Jackson Izzard (5'10 G / Jonathan Alder): Alongside junior guard Jackie Santa-Emma, Izzard and his backcourt mate played a huge rule in Jonathan Alder's dramatic win over Harvest Prep. While Santa-Emma was able to score it early, Izzard provided the theatrics late. Knocking down a half court heave at the buzzer for the win, Izzard delivered the final blow as the Pioneers picked up a huge win for momentum. A young team stock full of shooters, Izzard is one of the best, as he continued to improve on a strong freshman season.
