Hafiz Turay (5'10 / Westerville South / 2018): Lightning bolt of a point guard that played with terrific intensity on Sunday. Turay was a force on both ends of the floor, while getting into the lane and keeping defenders off balance with his innate ability to handle the ball. Turay even knocked down some deep threes, burying one from the volleyball line in our final viewing of him.

Jordan Bailey (5'10 / Upper Arlington / 2017): All Bailey does is win. On Sunday, his team was the top squad in the gym, winning the most and staying on the Winner's Court for the majority of action. Bailey, while small, is tough, physical and has a mind for the game with great vision. Bailey is a great addition for Upper Arlington's backcourt.

Dominiq Penn (5'10 / Dublin Coffman / 2020): Penn is the future of the Dublin Coffman basketball program. A highly skilled point guard that tests well athletically, Penn has a chance to be a stud at the high school level and beyond. We were impressed with Penn's confidence handling the ball in the open floor, showing off impressive dribble moves and always getting the ball in the right spots.

Jelani Simmons (6'4 / Beechcroft / 2018): Simmons just continues to grow and so does his ability to shoot the ball. Knocking down shot after shot once again on Sunday, Simmons extended his Coach Vic's winning streak to eight games, before falling in a sudden death match midway through the afternoon. With great size and ability, Simmons is one of the best prospects across the board in the City League.

Antonio Watson (5'9 / New Albany / 2018): Watson is a player that we want to recognize for his persistence in showing up and competing at Coach Vic's, even when he hasn't been invited. On Sunday, Watson was invited and did not disappoint. Playing hard for the length of the afternoon, Watson impressed with his outside shooting, picking his spots to score and showing better poise. An improving player from a good bloodline, Watson has improved his play each week as he has adjusted to the speed and physicality of the action. Look out for Watson this winter with New Albany.

Lamonte Powell (5'8 / Northland / 2018): Another standby player that took advantage of an opportunity on Sunday, Powell was solid in our viewings of him. Albeit undersized, Powell makes up for it with heart, as he was impressive attacking the basket and finishing among bigger players. Powell has a chance to contribute this season for a Northland team that, on paper, has the most talent in the City League.

Jeurdyn Hunter (5'9 / Marion-Franklin / 2019): The younger brother of top prospect Jerome Hunter, the 5-foot-9 sophomore was solid in our viewings of him. A confident guard that can really operate in one-on-one situations, Hunter handled the ball well and knocked down shots with regularity. In a Marion-Franklin program looking to bounce back after disappointment in recent years, Hunter is a good place to start for the Red Devils program. If Hunter can grow to the size of his brothers (Jerome - 6'7, Jeremiah - 6'5), you could have a really intriguing prospect on your hands in the City League South.
