In a record-breaking week for voting, New Albany senior point guard Jalin Jackson is the Just Hoops Player of the Week. Jackson takes home the honors after receiving 40 percent of more than 19,000 votes.
Jackson is coming off a strong last week in which he led New Albany to two-straight wins, combining for 24.5 points in those games. One of the most productive guards in the class since his freshman year, Jackson is enjoying a strong senior season for the Eagles.
Jackson is the first New Albany player to take home a Player of the Week award since 270 Hoops began the series prior to the 2015-16 season. Jackson and New Albany return to the floor at Olentangy Liberty on Tuesday.
